Her visuals are inspired by the humor and energy of Edgar Wright, while her stories revolve around personal growth, human connection, and purpose/identity. Additionally, she is a big fan of magical realism, which adds a unique and unbelievable touch to her work.

For Rachael, the ultimate goal of filmmaking is to connect with the audience. She believes that films are a powerful medium that can create moments of shared empathy, and she always keeps this in mind when sharing her ideas. As a college professor, she also enjoys teaching her students about the craft that she loves so much.

Rachael enjoys traveling and seeing friends whenever she can. She finds filmmaking compelling and rewarding and is inspired to try new things when she sees the creativity of others.

Rachael's latest short film, Frog-Man V, is currently in the works. She is eagerly looking forward to riding the festival circuit for it and preparing for her next ambitious project, a feature film. Additionally, Rachael is excited about sharing her research on May Brotherton, a pre-Hollywood editor she is writing about.
